General product family overview:

StarWind Virtual Tape Library (VTL) is a software that emulates physical LTO HPE or IBM tapes and connects them over iSCSI to a backup server. It uses standard HPE or IBM tape drivers on Windows to present virtual tape library and tapes as if they were physical and further presents them to Veeam Backup & Replication. StarWind VTL stores virtual tapes on local storage and can optionally offload tapes to cloud. StarWind VTL can be delivered as a Windows application or Linux-based VM.
