Program overview

Alliance vendors and their technology are directly part of the Veeam user experience within the Veeam Integrated program. Veeam invitations restrict access to the programs and usually comes with specific technical, marketing and business criteria.
Integrated

Veeam Integrated — “with Veeam”

This program is designed to jointly co-develop “appliance-like” storage solutions together with an Alliance Partner.

View solutions

Veeam Integrated — Universal Storage API

Primary Storage vendors that deliver storage for virtualization, physical server and NAS workloads can jointly develop with Veeam a snapshot integration into Veeam products.

View solutions

Veeam Integrated — Deduplication

For deduplication appliances, particular protocols or software settings are needed to provide the best user experiences. This program enables vendors to add their deduplication storage system to the Veeam user interface with specific settings automatically applied.

View solutions

The Veeam Ready program follows a qualification process with premier products of Veeam, such as Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, to meet specific standards for Alliance Partner solutions. Once the solutions pass the qualification process, they are deemed “Veeam Ready”. Independent from Veeam support status, this program offers your business the security that our Alliance Partners qualified the products and met specific functional and performance requirements using Veeam’s software.

Veeam Ready — Repository

Primary backup target solutions that have been qualified as meeting or exceeding both functional and performance tests for backup and restore operations.

Veeam ready tape

Veeam Ready — Tape

Tape solutions based on LTO or Jaguar that have been qualified as compatible with Veeam Backup & Replication's tape features and operations.

Veeam Ready — Object

Secondary backup target solutions that support object storage are confirmed to be compatible with Veeam products’ object storage features, and meet or exceed performance tests.

Veeam Ready — Security

Security solutions that have been qualified as compatible with Veeam Backup & Replication's SIEM (Syslog), KMS, Incident API, or Secure Restore security features.

Veeam Ready — Kubernetes

Kubernetes solutions that have been qualified to support all Veeam Kasten for Kubernetes backup, restore, and migration features.

Veeam ready tape

Veeam Ready — Appliance

Servers qualified to support Veeam deployments using the official Veeam Appliance ISO file, through compatibility testing and documentation of recommended configuration through screenshots.

The Veeam Infused Program is designed for Veeam Alliance Program (VAP) members who specialize in the creation of API-driven solutions to improve end-user experience with Veeam and partner products. Through partner-driven and partner-supported product integration, these solutions help customers achieve better performance or create unique functionalities together with Veeam products.

Participants are responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting their offerings. Unlike the Veeam Ready program, Veeam doesn’t provide a verification package, guidelines, or logos. The program's purpose is to provide a database of alliance partner solutions that integrate with Veeam through available APIs.

Veeam Infused categories:

  • Veeam Infused Automation: Veeam offers a set of APIs that allow vendors to utilize backups for automation and data reuse purposes, such as data mining, eDiscovery, and data forensics.
  • Veeam Infused Enhanced Data Mover: Storage vendors can utilize the Veeam Enhanced Data Mover optimizations for Linux-based backup storage targets to reduce network load and provide faster backup processing for their solutions.
  • Veeam Infused Management: Veeam offers a set of Management APIs, enabling end users and vendors to create custom integrations to enhance end-user experience or provide additional functionality.
  • Veeam Infused Security: Security vendors can integrate with Veeam’s capabilities and provide virus and threat scanning functionality into the backup restore workflows, ensuring a clean data copy is restored to the production environment.
Veeam has prided itself in supporting the philosophies of our customers and open-source is no different. Veeam already supports a variety of open-source principles and technologies, and this approach continues to increase our Enterprise efforts.
