New Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v8 now delivers immutable backups combined with immutable backup copies for total defense, and with the flexibility to store backup data on any object storage, including Azure Blob Storage, Amazon S3, IBM Cloud Object Storage, or S3-compatible storage.

True Enterprise Scale

Enterprise scale and efficiency are enhanced by Veeam Proxy Pools. This architectural update increases backup processing speed by distributing traffic across multiple proxies, intelligently sharing the load, and staying under the radar of throttling. This not only delivers better backup performance but allows enterprises to efficiently scale up large environments with tens of thousands of users.

Added Support

Veeam has added customer-requested support, including support for protecting data within private and shared Microsoft Teams channels. Veeam has also added the ability to use Linux-based backup proxies, giving organizations even more power of choice and a lower cost of ownership. Lastly, administrators now get added security with multi-factor authentication (MFA) when accessing the UI.
