Release Information for Veeam Backup for Salesforce 2 Cumulative Patches

Please confirm that you are running Veeam Backup for Salesforce 2.1 (build 2.1.0.4675) or earlier before upgrading. You can find the currently installed build number in the Configuration > About section.

After the upgrade, the Veeam Backup for Salesforce build number will be 2.1.1.4793.

Fixes

• Resolved an issue where the retention job erroneously removed record versions based on the date of the initial backup, rather than the date of subsequent changes. Which resulted in fewer available restore points.

• Added a server configuration script to identify and install potentially missing utilities.
• Optimized Salesforce API requests.
• Added advanced settings to control default parameters for records hierarchy restore.

Fixes

• Removed functionality that allowed for the configuration of arbitrary ID mappings. Now, ID mappings can only be viewed and removed.
• The default values for advanced settings are now correctly updated during product updates.
  This does not affect user customization settings.
• The field restore wizard now displays the correct field values for the selected record version.
• SMTP server can now be configured without authentication and with only a self-signed certificate.
• Salesforce token is refreshed correctly with multiple Salesforce orgs on the same installation.
