This article provides information regarding Veeam product licensing acquisition, access, and usage.

General Information about Licensing

Viewing Purchased Licenses

Owned licenses are available in the Veeam My Account portal under License Management > Production Licenses.

 

Downloading License File

Purchased licenses can be downloaded from the Veeam My Account portal under License Management > Production Licenses.

  1. Log in to the Veeam My Account portal.
  2. Navigate to Production Licenses under License Management.
  3. Select the product license you want to download.
  4. On the top right, click the Get license key link.
  5. Select the version of the license file needed.
  6. Click the Download button.

Note: Only the License Administrator may download the license file. An individual without the License Administrator role will only see an option to [Send to License Administrator], which will cause the selected license file to be emailed to the license administrator.

 

Requesting a Trial License

To request a trial license for a product, visit the Veeam Download Page and select a product to trial.

Existing customers can find their available downloads under Products in their Veeam Account.

For assistance with Licensing-related issues (examples below), please log in to your Veeam Account and open a Licensing support case. 

Licensing Support Example Issues:

  • Change License Administrator
  • Company name/billing address change
  • Conversion to Instances/VUL
  • License Upgrade/Downgrade
  • Licenses not displaying on the portal
