Challenge

After installation, no Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center discoveries take place within 5 hours. The Operations Manager Event Log does not show events 999, 1010, 1012, 1011.

Cause

Antivirus software can prevent the agent from working properly.

Solution

Check the following:

  • The Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Collector is collecting and sending data with no issues.

  • The agent has been configured correctly as described in the Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Installation Guide.

  • The agent (Operations Manager Event Log) is showing no performance or availability errors.

  • The installation of Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center was completed more than 4 hours ago.

If no Veeam Management Pack for Microsoft System Center data arrive from the agent, despite having verified everything mentioned above, check the antivirus activity.
