Milan, 8th June 2023 – Veeam Software, the leader in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, today announced that Stefano Cancian has been appointed as its new Country Manager for the Italian market.
In this role, Stefano Cancian will be responsible for further developing Veeam's presence in Italy, growing all segments with a specific focus in the Enterprise segment in both private and public sectors, and strengthening the company's already extensive relationships with all of its eco-system of partners.
Cancian brings more than 25 years of experience and success in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) market to Veeam. He has worked for PTC International, Siebel and Dell EMC in positions of increasing importance until becoming Sales Director for the Western Europe Region of Dell Technologies in the Storage Platform & Solution Sales Division, a role he held until joining Veeam, overseeing sales activities in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland and Ireland.
