Sydney, Australia: 22 March, 2018: Veeam Software, the Availability for the Always-On Enterprise innovator, today announced the winners of the 2017 Veeam ProPartner Awards for the Australia and New Zealand region. The award are held annually to recognize and celebrate 14 of Veeam’s committed and outstanding ProPartners and Veeam Cloud & Service Provider (VCSP) partners across ANZ, who have demonstrated success in providing Availability solutions to their customers, while providing first-class support, expert knowledge, and ongoing product education.
This announcement comes on the back of the latest update to the ProPartner Program in Australia and New Zealand, similar to that found in the North American and European programs. The Veeam ProPartner program is now designed to create better results for both the business and its channel partners.
Veeam’s FY17 results were announced in January this year, revealing a 36% increase in total bookings globally bringing total customers to 282,000 and ProPartners to 53,000. This substantial growth demonstrates how close the company is to reaching its goal of being a billion-dollar company by 2018. The update to the ANZ ProPartner program has been put in place to further facilitate this accelerated growth seen across the globe and will support the business, by supporting its local partners.
The updates means greater new business opportunities for Veeam’s Silver, Gold and Platinum ProPartners, who now have the ability to earn additional margin for any prospect that is not already a Veeam customer or has not previously purchased Veeam products. Additionally, the Alliance Attach Program will offer Silver, Gold and Platinum resellers the ability to earn incremental Deal Registration benefits when eligible alliance technologies are sold in conjunction with Veeam solutions.
“The program that we have introduced is about the reward of additional margin for partners who actually go out there and identify new business customers to Veeam. We are adding the additional value of a new business opportunity,” said Gary Mitchell, Vice President for ANZ at Veeam. “The incentive is not just to work with us to develop and grow an opportunity but about creating new opportunities for themselves too.”
“By 2020, global data will have grown by a factor of x10 from 4.4ZB in 2013 to 44ZB in 2020. It’s doubling every year! When we consider access to this data and associated services, it’s from digital devices via applications and such growth is what’s driving organisations in having to evolve the way they deliver and provide access to these digital services and experiences,” said Mitchell.
“Our partners enable us to provide data and backup solutions for so many businesses across Australia and New Zealand to ensure always-on access to these applications. Our ProPartner program is about cherishing and celebrating these relationships and creating more opportunities for us to work together effectively, supporting each other on a journey to provide unprecedented Availability for any app, any data, on any cloud. We are excited to recognize and honor these Australian and New Zealand partners with our highest achievement awards.”
