What are the benefits of choosing a service provider for my offsite backup? 
When partnering with a service provider, you get more than just a copy of your data. Service providers often provide other management, documentation and maintenance services with customized SLAs. When leveraging a service provider’s cloud as the backup repository, you have more control over where your data resides geographically (as opposed to a hyperscale public cloud), often a compliance requirement.
Are there additional licensing requirements to use Veeam Cloud Connect for offsite backup? 
No. For customers, Veeam Cloud Connect is included in Veeam Backup & Replication. 
What is the difference between off-site backup and managed BaaS?
Off-site backup is sending a copy of your backups to a secondary location like a service provider’s datacenter or public cloud. Managed BaaS is where a service provider manages backup for your on-premises environment. These services can include backup job maintenance, testing, verification and restore operations.
