Veeam Named Microsoft Partner of the Year Finalist; In 2 Categories!

Here at Veeam we work hard at building great relationships with our customers and our partners. We have some amazing alliances with the industry’s leaders. Our Microsoft alliance relationship is of incredible value! Microsoft plays such a key role in technology, we seem to encounter them at every level of our business from software development to marketing, channel partners, sales and promotions, innovation, and of course, we share the same end customers who are committed to Availability using Veeam, Windows Server, virtualization, and the cloud.

This week in the lead up to the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft released the names of the finalists for the Microsoft 2016 Partner of the Year Awards. Veeam was named a finalist in not one, but 2 categories: Application Development and Microsoft Azure Certified ISV Solution. The 2016 Microsoft Partner of the Year award is a recognized standard for excellence in our industry, and we are honored to be recognized as part of this elite group.

Microsoft Partner of the Year Finalist

Being a 2016 MPN Partner of the Year award Finalist means that Veeam is innovating and iterating our solutions in the right direction to benefit partners and customers. It means we are successfully partnering with Microsoft to drive both Microsoft and Veeam solutions to our customers through our partner channel. The 2016 Partner of the Year award is a measure of the depth and overall success of our efforts to work closely with Microsoft to build solutions that benefit the customer and the partner.

Veeam currently has 4 solutions operating in the Azure Marketplace, including the popular Veeam Cloud Connect. Veeam Cloud Connect is designed to enable Veeam’s 193,000 customers to connect their on-premises Veeam environments to Microsoft Azure for the purposes of archiving and restoring virtual machine backups to Microsoft Azure. Veeam Cloud Connect can be implemented directly by an enterprise or through a managed service provider depending on the needs and preferences of the customer. This flexibility means that Veeam Cloud Connect can be used across the spectrum of business from the smallest SMB to the largest enterprise.

Our development team has worked closely with Microsoft to develop valuable innovations in our current software and ensure Veeam is prepared to deliver future innovations. We have been fortunate to work at the highest levels with Microsoft and really feel like there is a 1+1=3 synergy as we work together.
