Forbes names Veeam as a Top 100 Cloud Company

Between celebrating our 10th anniversary, acquiring our 200,000th customer and making our biggest product announcement yet — the Veeam Availability Platform for the Hybrid Cloud — this year has already been a memorable one for Veeam. But, as incredible as 2016 has been, we expect next year to be even better. We have always known that our company has what it takes, and today, our efforts were recognized in the first-ever Forbes 2016 Cloud 100, the definitive list of the top 100 private-cloud companies in the world.

You can read more about the award from Forbes here, and find us on their slideshow here. The list was developed in conjunction with Bessemer Venture Partners, and winners were chosen based on a number of factors, with an emphasis on strong financials, customer adoption and satisfaction. Of the hundreds of nominees, Veeam was ultimately chosen by a panel of more than 20 judges, including many leading CEOs of public-cloud companies.

As Forbes editor Alex Konrad put it, “Cloud companies are revolutionizing how businesses reach their customers today from digitizing painful old processes to allowing them more time to focus on what they really care about — what makes their products unique. Inclusion in the Forbes 2016 Cloud 100 list recognizes a company for its financial growth and excellence as recognized by customers and peers.”

In a year that has been filled with successes and milestones, this recognition is icing on the cake. But, we never rest on our laurels at Veeam, so expect more from us in the near future. We’ll continue pushing hard to achieve our vision — Availability for the Always-On Enterprise!
