2021 was a tremendous year for Veeam! We closed the year with an impressive annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth of 27% year-over-year growth. Our incredible success, outpacing the overall market, can certainly be attributed to our strong leadership to deliver innovative products which exceed customer expectations.
Our laser-focused strategy on keeping customers satisfied continues to produce fruit. It’s clear our customers trust us and are vocal about it. One just needs to read the reviews that they leave on the two world’s most trusted and largest tech marketplaces: G2 and TrustRadius.
Seeing reviews from customers, talking honestly about their experiences with Veeam and our partners, proves that our maniacal focus on customer success is resonating. Typically, customers don’t have the time to leave reviews as they are super busy, so for Veeam to receive such high praise proves their love for what we do. Let’s dig into feedback we’ve received:
Recently, Veeam Backup & Replication earned #1 spot on the G2’s Best IT Management Products for 2022 and ranked amongst the top 100 Best Software Products for 2022, for the second year in a row.
Veeam backup for AWS, was ranked as #9 – amongst 4.300 products – in the G2 Best IT Management Products for 2022, the highest ranked AWS backup and recovery product.
TrustRadius has recognized Veeam Backup & Replication with ALL 2022 Best of Awards in the Data Center Backup category:
- The 2022 Best of Feature Set Award highlights companies with outstanding feature sets that have gone above and beyond to delight their users.
- The 2022 Best Relationship Award highlights companies that provide customers with accurate implementation expectations, solid follow-through on sales and marketing promises, and provide enough ROI to buy the program again.
- The 2022 Best Value for Price Award highlights products providing customers with outstanding ROI.
While Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 has been awarded the TrustRadius

Additionally, a panel of experts at TechTarget, a leading IT media outlet, has awarded Veeam Backup & Replication v11 as the 2021 Silver winner in the backup and disaster recovery category. Judges were especially impressed because Version 11 of the product not only continued to do what Veeam does best but made more than 200 enhancements. Continuous VM data protection together with immutable backup were major highlights as they make Veeam Backup & Replication well-suited for ransomware protection. Additionally, integration of Kubernetes support and AI were out standout features.
Kasten K10 V4.5 was awarded the Bronze winner in the backup and disaster recovery category, for its strong integration into Kubernetes and added capability of immutability for ransomware protection and insurance against accidental deletion. One judge stated: “Kasten’s K10 is one of the most innovative solutions for cloud-native data protection. It has strong integration into Kubernetes, while also delivering a level of ransomware protection that goes beyond what many of its competitors can deliver.”
The measure of Veeam’s success is directly correlated to the success of our customers as well as external recognition from technical experts.
